Argentina – Land of Laydee Wangs!

The Argentinian Senate has just passed its new Gender Identity law, which is awaiting the sign-off from the President.

The new law means that twanz can get their jendah-identiah changed without the need for any pesky Lop-Off-A-Dong surgeries:

Yesterday on 30 Nov 2011, by 167 votes against 17 and 7 abstentions, the Argentinian Lower House passed a gender identity bill. Under this law, trans people will be able not only to have access to gender recognition by a simple administrative procedure, without any kind of requirement, but also to hormonal and surgical treatments within the public health system with the only requirement of informed consent. To become a law, the bill has to be ratified next year by the Senate. For us here, yesterday was that kind of moments when impossible becomes reality.

Woohoo! Laydee Wangs aplenty! Pretendbians packing Dong!

News of the Laydee Wang friendly law passing the Argentinian Senate:

Argentina Passes Comprehensive Transgender Rights Law

The law passed 55-0 in the Senate, and the president is expected to sign it.

Argentina’s Senate has overwhelmingly passed a sweeping transgender rights bill, and President Cristina Fernandez is expected to sign it into law.

The measure, passed Wednesday, allows people whose gender identity does not match their physical characteristics to change their name and gender marker on public documents without having undergone gender-reassignment surgery and without approval from a doctor or judge, the Associated Press reports. It also assures that those who want surgery or hormone therapy will have insurance coverage for it with no extra premium, through both public and private plans.

The vote was 55-0, with one senator abstaining and more than a dozen declaring themselves absent.

The law will give transgender people in Argentina more freedom than they have in many U.S. states, some of which require proof of surgery for changing the gender marker on, for instance, a driver’s license. “This gives the individual an extraordinary amount of authority for how they want to live,” Stanford University professor Katrina Karkazis, who has written extensively on issues of gender identity, told the AP. “It’s really incredible.”

The National Center for Transgender Equality notes in a blog post that the law “reflects the hard work of trans and LGBT advocates in Argentina as well as the growing trend of recognition for trans people’s identities and medical needs internationally.” In 2009, Uruguay adopted a similarly broad gender identity law.

Argentina has been a pioneer for LGBT rights in its region in other ways, two years ago becoming the first Latin American nation to approve same-sex marriage.

For so-called INTERNAL jendah identitahs, they sure do need a lot of EXTERNAL validation… laws, dress-ups, bits of paper

The picture is my Multi-Cultural Laydee Wang Platter.
You can tell it is for Laydee Wangs, by the platter sitting on the towel, and the garlic sprig decoration on the side. *sigh* how luvly.

I think the biological born women of Argentina should take up Self defense and even have the right to carry weapons. It’s clear these pervs will stop at nothing in wiping out women and will use anything to get access to women.

LOL at the sausages. Was it you who said how easy it is for men to get all these laws passed in their favour, while women struggle for every tiny step forward ? Anyway, perfect example here where any small concession to women’s autonomy is precarious, while men just keep marching on.

PS the bulb shaped things on the napkin are garlic but the leaves are sage. You know, because mis-sprigging something is the worst crime ever and all.

    Yep, was moi.
The first wave protested for DECADES to get women the vote. They were arrested and treated horribly for it. The second wave took to the streets in their thousands, all over the world, protesting to get things like equal pay, better divorce/custody arrangements.

Fast forward to the nineties/zeros, twanz rights – was there even a protest that reached double digits? Did any of them even break a nail to get these rights? Nope, handed to them on a platter. Mardi Gras and Pride parades don’t count. And many of these twanz rights over-ride women’s rights and safety, it is a backdoor method to undermine second wave gains for women.

We are still awaiting the test results, but we believe the two cloves represent Steve-o’s laydee balls. Or kidney stones.

There must be twanzification going on in the water in South America, because Chile is laying on GRS.

Chile to cover sex change operations

Chile will soon cover sex change surgeries under its public health plan in order to allow citizens of limited means to “recover their true sexual identity,” Health Minister Jaime Manalich said.

Until now such operations were only offered in private clinics at a cost of $20 000 to $30 000, but will now be performed in public hospitals in the capital Santiago, Concepcion and Valparaiso, he said late on Thursday.

Before the reforms, “a poor person had no possibility of completing the process of femininisation or masculinisation,” Rolando Jimenez, head of the Movement for Homosexual Integration and Liberation (Movilh), told AFP.

The cost will now depend on the patient’s income bracket, with the poorest citizens able to get the operations for free.

The South American country of 17 million people has an estimated transsexual population of 3 000 to 4 000, according to Movilh.

The health ministry enacted other measures to prevent discrimination, ruling that blood banks cannot refuse donors based on sexual orientation and that transsexuals should room with patients of their desired gender in hospitals.

Chile recently passed a law against sexual and religious discrimination, and the legislature is discussing a bill to regulate domestic partnerships, including those between homosexuals.

Umm, excuse me? “transsexuals should room with patients of their desired gender in hospitals”, so basically anydude that ‘feels like a woman inside’ can bunk in with the females. Never mind that the NHS here has been trying to institute single sex wards because of the assaults that go on in mixed sex wards (and the NHS will probably succumb to the jendah delusion in single SEX wards anyway).

Biological sex is passé, only jendah delusion is acknowledged! Laydee wangs galore in female-only wards!
